Position Overview

• Title: Plaintiff Personal Injury Associate Attorney

• Location: New York, City, NY

• Experience: 2–5 years of New York plaintiff personal injury experience

• Practice Areas: Motor vehicle accidents (MVA), premises liability, trip/slip and fall, general negligence 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of personal injury files from pre-litigation to trial.

• Conduct client intake, initial case evaluations, and investigations.

• Draft pleadings, bills of particulars, discovery demands and responses, and motions.

• Appear for and conduct depositions (Examinations Before Trial - EBTs).

• Argue motions and attend court conferences in New York state and federal courts.

• Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense counsel.

• Prepare cases for trial, mediation, or arbitration. 

Qualifications & Skills

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active and in good standing license to practice law in the State of New York.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience handling NYC motor vehicle accident and premises liability cases.

• Strong knowledge of New York Civil Practice Law and Rules (CPLR) and local court rules.

• Excellent writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
