Job Title: Litigation Attorney
Job Location: Philadelphia, PA (Remote Option Available)

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a skilled and driven mid-level litigation attorney to join its team. This role is open to individuals admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The successful candidate will be handling a wide array of general liability cases, including premises liability, automobile, and insurance defense matters. Key responsibilities will include managing a caseload, preparing legal documents, conducting depositions, and providing strategic legal analysis. Court appearances and active participation in client discussions will also be part of the role.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of general liability matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including premises liability, automobile, and insurance defense cases
• Draft and file pleadings, dispositive motions, and responses to discovery requests
• Take and defend depositions, handle oral arguments, and represent clients in court as necessary
• Collaborate with clients to provide effective legal solutions and strategic advice
• Perform thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Maintain strong communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Work closely with senior attorneys and legal teams to ensure case progression and success

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, particularly in defending liability claims
• Proven ability to draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
• Experience in taking and defending depositions, handling oral arguments, and responding to discovery requests
• Familiarity with premises liability, automobile liability, and insurance defense law
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar
