A law firm seeks a Real Estate Litigation Associate to join its team in Parsippany, NJ. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate and commercial litigation, working on diverse matters such as commercial lease litigation, foreclosures, contract disputes, and zoning appeals.

Duties

• Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Handle complex real estate and land use disputes.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and discovery.
• Appear in court and manage day-to-day case activities.
• Participate in trial preparation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of real estate litigation experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex commercial litigation matters.
• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey (dual admission in NY is a plus).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
