Job Title – Chair of Corporate Practice

Salary/Package - $500,000 - $1million+ Basic salary + Bonus/Benefits

Location – Firm is New York based but open to remote working anywhere in the US

The Company:

Exceptional mid sized Law Firm on a phenomenal growth trajectory seeking an elite Corporate Partner/Chair level individual. This firm has built relationships with a number of private equity and private equity backed clients, as well as some large public ones. Given their positioning in NY and the size of the firm as well as inbound potential from foreign firms they have been building, they are primed for expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Representing venture, debt and equity funds; private equity funds; portfolio companies; and public and private corporations


• Experience in fund formations, private transactions, recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions and management buy-outs


• Providing ongoing advice on corporate governance matters


• Representing companies in connection with joint ventures, limited liability companies, partnerships, and other business arrangements

Candidate Requirements:

• 7 years+ Corporate Law experience with a focus on Private Equity/M&A/Venture Capital


• $1.5 million - $5 million+ portable business


• Team player with a positive, ambitious mentality
