A law firm in New York City is seeking a talented Corporate (Finance) Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience in corporate and transactional law, particularly in the Finance & Banking sector. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional writing and analytical skills, a strong academic background, and be admitted to practice law in New York.

Duties:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of finance-related agreements, including loan agreements, security documents, and financing statements.
• Advising clients on corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate transactions within the finance sector.
• Conducting legal research and analysis related to complex finance and banking issues.
• Assisting in due diligence investigations and preparing related reports.
• Participating in client meetings and negotiations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligible for admission by waiver.
• 3-4 years of experience practicing corporate law with a focus on finance and banking transactions.
• Proven track record of handling complex legal matters independently.
• Strong understanding of financial and business concepts relevant to corporate transactions.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
