Job Title – Chair of Patent Prosecution 

Salary/Package - $500,000 - $900,000+ Basic Salary + Package

The Firm:

A renowned midsized Law Firm (based New York) on an impressive growth trajectory is seeking an elite Patent Litigation Partner/Chair to lead and grow their existing team. This firm are Tier 1 for Intellectual Property Litigation in New York and Tier 2 Nationally with an outstanding reputation and exceptionally strong culture. 

Location – Firm is New York based but open to remote working from anywhere in the US

Responsibilities:

• Handling patent issues, including prosecution of patent applications, and dealing with USPTO matters


• Drafting and filing patent applications


• Advising on IP protection strategies


• Dealing with the entire patent application process and representing clients in the event of post-grant proceedings


• Utilising high level analytical skills to conduct complex analysis of legal matters


• High level writing skills

Candidate Requirements:

• 10 years+ Patent Drafting/Prosecution experience


• $1.5 million+ Portable Book


• Any technical background considered (Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, etc)
