Job Overview:
A law firm located in Philadelphia, PA is currently seeking an experienced International Employment Attorney to join its Employment Group. This role involves supporting global employment work and requires a skilled attorney with expertise in both domestic and international employment counseling. The position offers an opportunity to interact with teams across various offices and provides significant involvement in corporate transactions, employee mobility, and emerging company matters. Duties:

• Conduct employment diligence and provide counsel on employment-related aspects of corporate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements.
• Advise on reductions in force and other employee termination matters.
• Guide restrictive covenants and employee mobility issues.
• Counsel emerging companies on a range of employment law matters.
• Collaborate with other offices in the firm’s global employment practice.
• Manage client relationships and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality work products.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment counseling (domestic and/or international).
• Experience at a nationally recognized law firm or AmLaw 100 firm is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex legal matters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong relationship-building skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (PA).

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and negotiation.
• Strong communication and client service orientation.
• Ability to think strategically and offer practical legal solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Expertise in global employment law matters, including cross-border issues.
