Duties

• Assist in managing trial calendars and staffing associates within the litigation team.
• Work closely with trial teams to prepare for trials, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Draft legal documents such as briefs, motions, and discovery requests.
• Oversee the preparation of client communications, presentations, and business development materials.
• Handle discovery tasks, including e-discovery and witness preparation.
• Manage long-term projects, ensuring alignment with the team’s strategic goals and effective resource allocation.
• Coordinate with practice managers and senior partners to identify and meet staffing needs.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to maximize client impact and efficiency.
• Facilitate smooth integration of new lawyers into the litigation group.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex legal matters.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise legal documents.
• Experience with discovery processes and e-discovery tools.
• Excellent project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with tight deadlines.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.

Certifications

• State Bar membership (required).
