A law firm seeks a 2nd - 4th year associate to join its Corporate Advisory/Fund Formation practice in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to work with private equity sponsors and investors on the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds, as well as addressing legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.

Duties

• Collaborate with private equity sponsors and investors on fund structuring and formation.
• Advise on legal, regulatory, and compliance issues for fund sponsors.
• Engage directly with partners and clients to provide legal counsel.
• Manage multiple assignments and responsibilities efficiently.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of fund formation experience at a law firm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism in client and investor interactions.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the New York bar.
