A reputable law firm based in Wilmington, DE is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Career Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Insurance and Reinsurance Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on professional liability, general liability, and directors' & officers' insurance policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals who are passionate about insurance law and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance and reinsurance disputes, including litigation and coverage analysis
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
• Provide strategic advice on complex insurance coverage issues
• Conduct legal research and analysis of insurance-related laws and regulations
• Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and client communications
• Manage multiple projects with varying timelines and priorities
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation
• Proven track record of managing complex cases with minimal supervision
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to think innovatively and deliver client-focused solutions
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in Delaware or ability to waive into the Delaware Bar
